I asked this years ago, along with many other people. I have searched high and low (you should have too) and couldnt find any freeware definition for the 6870. The only one I know of is Tunercat. You'll need to pay for that one. Ive got an 85 Vette and decided to just swap to a 165 ecm. It costs about as much to swap the ecm as tunercat does, plus you'll get faster ALDL data and a slightly newer, more common ecm that doesnt use an expensive hard to get bosch burn off module.

Good luck.
