Some old info I found on the DIY-EFI site a while back.
Code:
Some GM part numbers:
If you're building/repairing a harness for the 1227165/727/730/749/808/747 ecms,
 you'll need 12047946 and 12045575.
For 3 connector ECMs you'll also want 12089591.
These are "car side" ECM connectors.
Crimp terminals for the above are 12089660.
The connector inside a 747/808/148 ECM is Packard #12020756.
The yellow connector on a 730/749 is 12048046

I did not think the terminals would be the same for the 7730 and the 7727 b/c the 7727 is an underhood ECM exposed to the harsh engine compartment environment. So doing extensive research (hours of searching around on www.delphisecure2.com), I was able to locate the p/n's I was looking for.... and then some. So here is what I found out:

12066132 - terminals
12052924 - seals for the terminals (package of 20 p/n 12048086 seals)
12065877 - Connector 'C' (Green on my Vette)
12065878 - Connector 'D' (brown on my Vette)
12065876 - Connector 'B' (Red on my Vette)
12065875 - Connector 'A' (yellow on my Vette - manual says Yellow or Gray)
12059155 - Header for connectors 'A' and 'B' (header is what is attached to the ECM and what the connector mates to)
12059154 - Header for connectors 'C' and 'D'

I think the connectors and headers are discontinued.

Not only did I look up the p/n's for the terminals...... I compared the p/n the connector drawing called out witht p/n 12089660 (that the DIY-EFI site references)

I found the terminals are not the same length for starters, and the dimensions and shapes are just a bit different. I do not know if the are interchangeable, so since p/n 12066132 is available, I will try that one.

Maybe this info should be catalogged somewhere????

To add another piece of info.....

I was looking for this info so I could utilize the 8D wideband hac.

These are the pinouts needed for the 1227727 ECM:

C21 = MAP(2)
C18 = TPS(2)

I have all the documents to back this up, but they are too large to attach

Re: ??Connector terminal for 1227727 ECM connector??

Hi! I'm Ed. I have been lurking on this website for a few years. I have 2 projects underway: an '86 Camaro / 350 tpi and a '50 Chev PU that will have a 383 tpi. Life has been getting in the way of completing these projects, but I now have some time. I am in need of enough 1227727 crimp terminals to wire 2 ecm's (plus a few mistakes). If you have any available, I'd be severely in your debt. Thanks in advance for any help. Ed (pedolin@msn.com)

I have some pigtails for the 727 ecm and a good used complete harness . I think the terminals have been discontinued.

Re: ??Connector terminal for 1227727 ECM connector??

For the crimp terminals what I do is identify the terminal I need usually by looking here:

http://ecat.delphi.com/

note the part number and then look here to buy:

Waytekwire.com

They also have the proper crimp tool at waytek for only something like $22.00.

I usually buy bags of 50 or 100 of the terminals I need.

Re: ??Connector terminal for 1227727 ECM connector??

I know this thread has been dead for almost 2 years but I came across it while looking for parts/info to rewire my project. I know there are some harness wiring geniuses out there that know the answers.

All of the Delphi pages listed are inactive so they are no help. I am wondering if anyone has found new sources for the ECU connectors, terminals, seals and such. I have tried google searching the part numbers listed with little to no success. I have even been searching for used terminals and or harnesses with little to no luck. So if no one has the terminal info but has the 4 connectors for the 727 ECU with all the wires/terminals still in them (wires cut long enough they can be soldered) I would be interested in those.

I know it is going to be a long shot but I am going to call a chevy dealer today and see if they can help out, if they can I will update
