Perf Chips

All suggestions welcome!

I am thinking about swapping out my Hypertech chip for another brand. The car runs great but i am curious as to weather another brand or manuf has better performance specs. What do you guys suggest.

TPIS looks impressive but they are also expensive. How difficult is it to burn your own and how much does it cost to get started?

THANKX for the info.......

Costs about 200 bucks to get started, but you have to have a pretty GOOD understanding of how an engine works before you start playing with things. "Performance specs" is not gonna cut it if you plan on gettting involved in this

Please read the article entitled...

Programming PROMs for your Thirdgen Fuel Injected F-Body: Part I

It is located on the main thirdgen page in the technical articles section.

I had a TPIS Level V PROM. Fueling at idle sucked. Thus, I am burning my own chips ... no such thing as a fully custom chip unless it was designed for your car .... not a car like yours with the same make, model, modifications .... but, YOUR car.
