I thought I solved the problem but I didn't. When I log onto tunerpro RT it still says ADS XDF mismatch. Not sure what to do to fix that, damn computers,,,,,lol. Larry.

More problems? =(

You needn't worry about that message. It means that the XDF is tied to a particular ADS file, and the ADS file you have loaded isn't the one it's tied to.

This isn't critical. It just means that ALDL Data Tracing won't work until you load the matched ADS file.

It is an easy fix. The XDF ADS link is so you can do ALDL tracing and see where you are at in a table once it is setup. So it shouldn't stop you from being able to log or make changes to your bin. You just can't see where you are at in a table in real time.

To fix it, open up Tunerpro. Go to the XDF menu go to VIEW/EDIT XDF Header Info. Once there you should see a tab for your XDF that says ALDL Assoc. Click on it. Now you will need to click on the Browse Button. Here you want to Browse to where you have the ADS file saved to. Once you have the ADS file selected, save the XDF. That error should now be gone.

Now you can link your ALDL values to X and Y columns in a table to be able to see where you are at in real time in that table. Just right click on the item you want to link in the XDF. A menu will come up, go to EDIT ITEM XDF Info. Click on the ALDL Assoc. tab and now you can select which ALDL item goes to X and which goes to Y axis (if it is 2d table.) If it is just a 1d table then you will only be able to link 1 ALDL item to it. Once you do it a couple of times you will get the hang of it.
