Will a 512 work ?
Hey everyone. Anyone know if a 512K EPROM will work in place of a 256 ? If so... any special things I have to do ? I plan on buying about 5 of em today from my local supplier so I can go to the track and burn some chips. Unfortunately they only have 512s in stock. Thanx

I've never tried it....a 2256 programs from 0000-7FFF and a 512 is 0000-FFFF so I think you could put the .bin in twice...once from 0000-7FFF and then from 8000-FFFF. Let us know if you try it.
