1227730 ECM's applications

I'm going salvage shopping and know that the SD ECM is in the following cars. Can someone help identify the make/models please? Here's the list.

Application: 1227730 ECM's
1987 2.0 L4 TBI “1” LL8
1988 2.0 L4 TBI “1” LL8 (early)
1987-89 2.8 V6 PFI “W” LB6 (exc. “W” body)
1988-94 3.1 V6 PFI “T” LH0 (exc. “W” body)
1990-92 5.0 V8 TPI “F” LB9
1990-92 5.7 V8 TPI “8” L98 (“F” body

P.S. Will I find "passkey"(VATS) in all of these cars?

Look for a late 80s to early 90s Lumina/Corsica or Berretta...they are a dime a dozen. Also Pontiac Tempests and virtually all FWD V6 MPFI car from the late 80s to the early 90s. Just avoid "W"s.

I know that the Lumina does not have a VATS module as standard equipment. They probably have the "VATS" disabled in the V6 eprom.

To get VATS, you need the the VATS module, the ignition and the key. You'll only find that in a Corvette or an F-body of that era.

Lastly, the 4th digit of the VIN is the car model (avoid "W"s) and the 8th digit is the engine code.

So the Lumina/Corsica or Berretta's did not have VATS, only F and Y bodies?

Thanks for the great infomation. I'm going shopping, you made my choices much better.
