Best off the shelf chip
Can you guys help me out ,i don't no **** about programming my own chip and i just want to know what the best chip out there is..I have an ADS super chip that can with the car when i bought ,but it is not installed ,should i install the ADS or go buy another one,,Thanx

Best "off the shelf" eprom? None.
Read this...its easier than you think and not that much more than an "off the shelf" eprom. The single most expensive part will be getting a scan tool. It's not absolutely necessary, but I find it makes tuning a lot easier. Also helps in pinpointing problems with your engine when you have a sensor problem...so it has more value than just using it for tuning your eprom.
