Dont forget you're and your, as well as there, they're, their, and to, too, and two. Those are my pet peeves. Some people say its just a message board, not an English class, but your spelling and your grammar reflect on your intelligence. I'm more likely to help someone who can form complete sentences with rational thoughts, rather than someone who spews out they want to run 12's with their 305 for $500.

Agreed about good English and grammar (at least a stab at it - not perfect, but at least proof read).

I got this email reply a few days ago, would you trust it???

verbatim -

"ok ,,, heres the deal looks like ta me you lacking oil ,dont care watt gauge says and also i sorta say crank is outa round, and tes you have some movement in the cap mating area it all can be repaired !!!! first want to take crank and have each stroke indexed and then the mains set for round next want to spoon or scllop or trail open the oil holes tis will trail more oil on the bering at all times.next ya want to install steel guieds or sleeves on all studs (need ta be set in block) this will take slop outa the stud area same as a hi buck rod cap .next lock dist at no advance then set at 32 degrees . detoniation dosent mean chippin a plug or seen metal on plug it means cracked cylinders, cracked piston skirts, piston pin area .. and also use a hi volume pump at 7000 rpm ya want 70lb of pressure ,oil filter get a little fancy here keep the volume ya want a remote filter like a hp6 just look at the opening where it screwes in to ...........also may think about the lifter bores ..... these are just a few things,,,,,, good luck"

The understand what he is trying to say, but he communicated his ideas across very poorly. This is where mistakes can happen.

I hope thats not in reference to me. I always point out spelling errors, habit. I figured this was the best place to state it, and what do you know.. in no time it was fixed.
