Need help with pocket programmer
Alright I just got my programmerand I pulled the eprom out of my jet chip used move to buffer and saved it, it worked. Then I used my eraser then plugged it back in to the PP and did a blank check, its says it's erased (ALL FF), I then load the buffer (arap 6e.bin) then try to program device and it says error or something like that and says it did not program. I have a 165 ecm using a 27c128 eprom. I read through the help files and everything seems to be in order, but it doesn't work.
Thanks

Make sure that you are using the right program - - - I think its called fileprom.exe or something like that.

Yes, try exiting to DOS and running the DOS version of fileprom. I've run into that problem when using flash proms with the pocket programmer and the windows version. If I exit to dos mode and then use fileprom it'll program the flash proms. I think its the way Windows controls the port, that causes the problem.
