Removing Vats

Just curious if this was a simple task.

I have not seen the editors yet, so I don't know if they give you nice menus and such or just raw hex codes to change.

I have to dig out th prom burner and see if I can get it to work ... boy it's been a long time.

Rustily,
Mark.

Simple. Single bit. All editors Ive seen have the disable option. If not, we'll point out the location for ya.

What does VATS stand for? I know it is easy to disable with tunercat.

Vehicle Anti-Theft System
Primitive anti-theft system, but it works. Saved my GTA from being stolen several years ago.

But if the thieves weren't amateurs, I'm sure that it would have been long gone.

Yes, I know it's easy to disable in Tunercat but I don't want to spend 70 bucks just to alter a single bit.
So if someone know the exact address and the value it should have, I'd be grateful.

Why not try winbin instead? You can download it from:
<A HREF="http://www.spiritone.com/~eoa/Cars/EFI/">http://www.spiritone.com/~eoa/Cars/EFI/</A>

It's free and should do what you require.
