help! eprom identify

747ecm,350sbc,1988 truck.
i just pulled the prom out of my truck and this is the info on the back:

delco
akaj
1147
(the above is on the window sticker of the prom and i understand it is a akaj.bin, below is what i don't understand)

painted on the prom is:
014
32500
aa8725b

i want to read this with my programmer and cannot identify the voltage eg. (12.5 or 21)
what prom id do i use with the pocket programmer so i can read and save this bin.

my eproms have not arrived from jameco so i thought i would look at this prom from the truck and play with the bin. it is a eprom which is eraseable. any suggestions.

GM tended to use 27C128s in TBI trucks. 12.5 Volts. Give it a shot.

Actually Glenn, the 747 ecm he is using runs the 2732A EPROMS. I do agree to start at the lower voltage first.

Re: help! eprom identify

I have 4 chips, 2 2732's (read off the top) and 2 32500 (read off the top) and no matter what the 2 2732's erase in under 2 minutes and burn every time. I however cannot get the 32500 chips to program, they erase in about 10-12 minutes, they start to program and error with "Device did not program". My 2732's burn @ Vpp@ 25v

Re: help! eprom identify

If he's just to read that eprom then it's Vpp doesn't matter, it won't be applied. Only the size matters.. Never heard of 32500 though..
