Connecting Tunerpro RT to the ALDL dash?

I cant get Tunerpro RT to connect to the Aldl dash? Nothing comes up. I have my AKM cable hooked up and it wont see it? Tunerpro see's my Ostrich and connects fine to that but I cant get the Aldl dash to work.

Car: Several, all with 8 cyl. Some bigger, some smaller
Engine: Ranging from L8 4,4 liter to over 9,2 liters full aluminum V config.
Transmission: Which one?
Wrong cable...

I had 3 or 4 different ones before the "light" came. Since then it has performed flawlessly, every time.

Your AKM cable should work fine. I have one too.

What ADS? What ECM and code mask? More information is better than less information.

For 8D, use the 1227730.ads file included with the TunerPro download. You need to load the ADS file (this is the ALDL definition file) in order to connect to your vehicle. To open it, either drag and drop the ADS file into the TunerPro window, or hit F4 to bring up the ALDL setup window and then load the definition from that window.

Also, don't forget the help file (help menu).
