swapped ECM and burned a few chips
I swapped my 870 ECM to a 165. It only took a few hours. I checked as I went and rechecked everything at least 3 times. Everything went smooth with the only error being the inverted fan think which I forgot to do on my first chip. I started the vehicle (after disconnecting the cold start injector) with a APYM from an 89 305/A4 (VATS disabled) for use later as a back-up chip. Besides the fan thing it worked well. I then burned an ARAP bin corrected for the injector size, VATS, and desired idle speed.
