Starting point for 350 TPI

Can anyone recommend a good bin to start off with for a 350 Tuned port using a 1227165 ecu

It was originally a 305 but I have put together a new combo With bigger 775 injectors and alloy heads .
I upped the original fuel constant to get it started but would like to start with a known good calibration (factory) before I start to do some tuning.

Are the later $6E better than the $32 I am currently using - I assume I just unplug the cold start injector ?

Go with the ARAP bin found in quite a few webpages nowadays. Do a search on this board for ARAP and you'll find plenty of references to it. Yep, just unplug the cold-start injector, or remove it and fill in the holes with a block-off kit. The $6E is better since it it much-more defined, and there's a great WinBin .ecu file for it now.

As Greg suggested, try the ARAP bin, it's probably the best starting point.

Here's some links for you to start with. This ARAP bin is totally original, no modifications done to it. I'd suggest you just change the injector constant and the Fan operation flag (Should be N/O).

Then get Craigs program and monitor the ALDL data to see what else you need to change...

Thanks guys I will try the ARAPbin . Was that originally a 350 bin ? if so I will not need to change the injector constant as the injectors I have are 350 injectors ?

Yep, it was for a 350, so you won't need to change the injector constant if you have the stock-size 22lb injectors. Enjoy!

Things to watch for on the ARAP bin are below. All are available in WinBin with the latest config file which I believe somebody already posted a link to.

VATS is enabled. If you're running an '88 or older F-body you probably don't have VATS. Car won't start until you disable it.

Fan switch logic is reversed. The ECM enables the fan it controls whenever you turn the air conditioning on. ARAP thinks AC is on when the line pressure switch is open...your F-body switch is reversed, and closes when AC is on.

ARAP has a **LOT** of spark advance. It was configured for a hi-po engine running aluminum heads being driven by somebody who uses 93-octane gas.
