Assistance needed with timing

I have a 87 Iroc with the stock '165 ECM and 32B PROM. I rebuilt the engine last year increasing the compression to 10.5:1 while adding trickflow 23 degree 64cc aluminum heads and a LT4 Hot Cam. I have gotten the hang of TunerPro RT for the most part and I've been able to get the BLM's in check (124-132). I would like to now forcus my attention to the timing table but I have no idea where to start. I have set my base timing at 10 degrees both at the distributor and the chip. I've read that aluminum heads like timing removed at cruise and some added a WOT. That was assuming that the heads had small chambers which I don't have.

Does the computer incorporate the 10 degrees into the timing vs rpm vs load table or does it add the timing to that table? My guess is it incorporates it into the table but I want to make sure. Would anyone with a similar setup like to tell me what they did for their table? I understand that every car is different but a starting point is always nice. I've printed all the stickies and use them as reference whenever possible but I haven't been able to get the timing sorted out.

Thanks

I know on the $8D speed density stuff the numbers in the table INCLUDE the base timing. They can still be different though due to PE, idle settings, EGR, etc. The only thing absolute I've found is the "Max Timing Value". Not sure how much of this is true for your MAF set up though....

I thought that would be the case but after searching for hours I was still coming up unsure.

The values in the timing table are what you get. No need to mentally add or subtract anything. There's modifiers of course, like for ECT, and PE, but base timing is automatically accounted for.
