Winbin has a problem with 16 bit values, you have to edit that value with a hex editor, and then load the file in Wnbin and recaclculate the checksum. Winbin will, however show you the correct value when you look at the limiter....

That should work, I just looked at a $32B bin with that ecu file. Are you sure that the bin you are trying to look at is not actually a $32 bin?

The easiest way to tell them apart is to try to load the bin in the demo version of TunerCat, and it will tell you which TDF file it would require. But I think that $32 is the most likely one for it to be.....

Thanks Greg.

I had a major brain-fart with that one! Of course it's in the .ecu file! I'm going to try winhex to edit the value directly. (Not like I'd ever be able to rev to 10K rpm or whatever it is anyway!) Is there a better editor to use?

(edit)

I just went in with Winhex and changed the values to something more realistic (~6K rpm). Really very simple to do! Now I hopefully have a realistic rev limiter. Winhex is a very nice tool.
