Need help using Pocket Programmer
I have some free time to play with my pocket programmer but im lost.
I know how to load fines into the buffer from disk or eprom but how do I edit the buffer.
Yes, I see the option on the menu to edit the buffer, but once that selection is choosen its like a virtual maze trying to figure out where to go.
What I need to do is check the fuel pressure on the modded chip im using now and a few other things.
I'll have some Diacom data later today or this weekend, but for now i'de really appreciate some assistance with this pocket programmer.
Thanks!

You REALLY cannot use the Pocket Programmer for editing the BIN as it is all done in Hex and you need to know how the algorithym works.
That is why there are "Bin Editors" to make the actual changes to the BIN, and then you just load the BIN into the PP and then program the eprom/flash prom accordingly.
For BIN Editors, there is TunerCat, GMEPRO and WinBin. WinBin is free, but a little cumbersome to use, GMEPRO is great if you use DOS and has most everything defined. TunerCat is Windows Based and very easy to use, but does not have everything defined. But the guys at TunerCat are very pro-active and constantly making changes. From an "ease of use" perspective, I prefer TunerCat as my BIN Editor.
