I pulled out my ecm and looked at the memcal and here is what it had:
Delco AWBK 4329

The ECM has a service number of 16147060

I plan on burning a new chip, but would rather not mess with the original memcal. I found some posts that had replacement part numbers for other vehicle memcals and was wondering what you ask the dealer for. I looked at GM Parts Direct using the other memcal part numbers and the search came back with something called a "CALIBRATO", which I think is short for calibrator, or something.

So, if I call the dealer what do I ask for so that they will understand?

Sounds like you should have a 1991 gmc trk with auto trans? Tell them part # 16154328.

I got my answer. I submitted a request to the Brasington Parts web site (www.gmoters.com) and included all the information I got off the Memcal and the ECU. They sent back this part number: 16187518. Cost from them is $44.60. Cost from GM Parts Direct is $38.78.

I would agree with the 350 truck ID, as it agrees with BCC Lookup, which you can see at -

...And it identifies your EPROM exactly...

The other number *might* be an upgrade EPROM...

And yes, it's a CALIBRATOR in GMspeak...
