Disable C.A.R.S -skip shift in Y body 8D

I've searched the boards, TC and Tunerpro for info relating to disabling CARS or CAGS on a 90 Y body 727 8D. Any info out there???

Thanks

Here are the parameters for a '91:
Code:
;------------------------------
; Computer Aided Ratio Selection
; MANUAL XMISSION
;------------------------------

L8300: FCB 120 ; IF COOL GT 50c CK FOR CARS ACTIVE
                        ;
L8301:  FCB      1      ; RESET SPEED
L8302:  FCB     12      ; ENABLE SPEED
L8303:  FCB     19      ; DISABLE SPEED
                        ;
L8304:  FCB      48     ; RPM DISABLE
L8305:  FCB      90     ; %TPS FOR DISABLE
                        ;
L8306: FCB 76 ; Kpa LOW BARO DISABLE
L8307: FCB 78 ; Kpa LOW BARO FOR RE ENABLE
IIRC once over a certain throttle position CARS is not invoked. With that I would set the %TPS FOR DISABLE at $305 to 0. Should do it.

If not, then change the coolant (@ $300) to 255, or change both.

RBob.

The AT bins are set to 255 ($FF) for the temp.

Thanks Rbob! That should do it. I'll give it a whirl and see what happens!
