Am I really going to be able to pull this off?

The problem: a 4 hour drive.

OK, the 7730 update was successful and it has been for a few months. I have my fuel trimmed and added pretty well, but I was doing all my tuning in 90 deg heat over the summer. The car is finally roadworthy again and I don't want to get myself in a jam. I have to drive her 4 hours to my permanent residence and want to know your ideas on my own roadside assistance.

My setup:

Laptop w/diacom...a really old Compaq laptop.

EEPROMs

Pocket Programmer.

If I end up an hour into the drive and things start going wrong (which I gotta anticipate), will Pocket Programmer work connected to a suitable power supply from the cig lighter? Will TC run in 3.11 or is 3.11 a 16 bit setup? I will have enough accessory outlets, but want to know anyone's success or lack thereof with this setup.

I would try all this stuff out before hand, but I am here, my car and all my programming stuff is there, and in between, there ain't going to be a lot of time. Thanks, -Matt-

You'll need atleast win95 for TC. Everything else should work just fine. TC is a 32bit app, and yes, win3.1x is a 16bit "OS".
