Hex Address for Shift Light

I'd like to change that stupid shift light, so it doesnt come on under 2000 rpms anymore. I know it can be done, but I dont know the hex address for it. TunerCat doesnt list it anywhere. I have a map for a Corvette chip, but it doesnt match up with my f-body chip. Does anyone know where it is, which byte address, so I can change it to not come on except over 2200 RPMs, and also change the upper limit so it comes on at 5500 RPMs? Thank you!

The only addresses I am aware of is in the $8D.hac from GMECM Guy's website. That is for the ANHT Corvette BIN. To my knowledge, the data area is the same.

I wonder if auto cars even have a shift light in the dash! Or maybe it's there but w/out a bulb in it. I'm gonna have to check that out.

Wow, this is an old post. I already found it and changed it and forgot about it a long time ago.

Those will be nice, but some of us (well.... me, anyways) need some further instruction on what to do with it once we have it. .

Yeah like me

I looked at both hacs for the $8D and the one on ECMGuy's page has a "shift light code" routine but the other hac doesnt have one at all!

Kevin, would you be so nice as to share some info ? What do you need to change and how ? Thanx in advance.

You will need Tuner Cat's TDF editor.
