Is there a glossary or definition file somewhere to explain all the tables and constants in Tunercat. Maybe I'm a little dense but most of the names seem pretty vague to me. I asked Tunercat the last time I requested an update but they said they hadn't had time to do an updated help file. The current help file has maybe half of the items defined. Any help out there?

Currently, I'm looking at:
Stall Saver Spark Adv. on RPM Thresh. 1
" " " " " " " 2
" " " " " " " 3
Stall Saver Spark Adv. Off RPM Thresh.
IAC Learn Timer
Idle Speed Timeout Steps vs. Coolant Temp.
MAT Compensation Counts vs. MAT
Two things I'm working on are 1: on dec. the idle speed hangs @1300 for a few seconds and then drops to my requested 800 rpm. and 2: There seems to be too much correction for MAT as the BLM are somewhat rich at cooler MAT and go up to 138-140 when MAT goes over @130. The table lists "counts" as the variable but what are the "counts". The numbers on my chart are 128 counts from about the middle of the chart to max MAT. Thanks for any help.

4 is rpm that "cancels" the stall saver.
I belive #5 is the refresh rate for IAC steps at idle.
You problem is probably in the DFCO stuff rather then the IAC area. There is a min idle, **hangup** on decleration based on rpm and / or VSS.
I wouldn't worry about the 130 MAT corrections. Do you often run those temps?.
If often are you sure there are no other problems?
Grumpy,
I forgot to specify, 130*F MAT, run there alot of the time.
I was thinking the stall saver was a "dashpot" to keep the engine from killing (stalling) when lifting off the throttle. The adjustments to items 1-4 are all RPM's, not units of advance. You'd advise turning off the stall saver?
One annoying problem I'm trying to work out is when decelerating in gear at closed throttle (stick shift) and the idle speed lingers @ 1300 the MAP increases and turns the fuel back on (DFCO) which causes a major power surge and shock to the driveline. I have the DFCO set to go off @ 850RPM, just above my 800RPM idle speed, so I'm sure it's the MAP reading that's triggering the fuel back on causing the lunge. Since items 1-3 in my prom are set to 400, 450, & 500RPM I assumed that those numbers added to my 800 RPM idle equal the @1300RPM that my car seems to hang at on decel. for an amount of time perhaps set by the IAC Learn Timer. Seem logical? I'm certainly open for suggestions. Thanks.
