Swap done now the tuning is killing me
ok I have 2 noticable problems but first let me do some explaining of the situation.
I swaped a 350 into my 92 RS 305 tbi, kept the tbi and switched out the 55# to 61# injectors, also I put a comp cam xe262 cam in her, 416 heads, edelbrock performer intake W/ adapter plate, I advanced base timing to approx 10 deg so shed run a little. I have adjusted my iac and idle rpms. ok now the 2 problems. 1st is y blms. I took the formula (old blmX128) X VE table value = new blm. when I did this It changed from being close to 128 up to normally the 133+ strange. 2nd problem is it does not seem like my converter wants to lock up. Not quite sure how it all works, but I thought it basically locked the 2 halves of the converter together in order to give you a 1:1, but it seems like when I hit the gas rpms slowly slowly rise then they shoot up but the ca doesnt really accel? hmm will post data log but here is my bin

First, are you running stock fuel pump and pressure regulator? Second, the true equation to get your new VE value is ((BLM*INT)/16384)*Old VE = New VE. To have your equation work somewhat and not use the INT data, it would have to be BLM/128*VE Table Value. I happen to have that same problem and the settings for TCC logic is in depth, but there is a wonderful post and in particular it covers the stock ECM for your TBI motor. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-...ight=TCC+Logic
I just quickly glanced at the bin and it seems to be alright. Keyword "Seems". Basically in a nutshell the TCC locks so there is less/no slipping between the motor and the transmission innards.

When you pulled the engine, you likely lost fluid out of it.
Hopefully you haven't hurt anything yet.
Keep in mind that the converter is going to stall higher behind the 350 than the 305. Especially at higher throttle openings.

Look at the fluid though
Hopefully it will not smell like burnt peanuts.

Misadjusted TV cable/bad cable geometry is definatly the quickest way to smoke a trans. If the fluid burns, then the frictions are trash. Theyre only made of paper. If its only slightly discolored/faded but smells ok then the trans is probably unharmed. If its dark and smells like burnt pancakes/peanuts, or even worse, creosote, then it needs to be rebuilt. When adjusted, the TV cable should be TIGHT at WOT. If theres slack in the cable with the throttle fully open, then its not properly adjusted
As far as tuning, get a wideband. Teh stock NB isnt the greatest way to tune. Also, the stock timing really sucks. A quick and dirty way that I really like to get the timing set is to use a vac. advance distributer curve. Curve it like it would work if it had a non-CC distributer. Ive done this on my setups and it works quite well to get the car off and running.
