Re: Check my bin???

What kind of assistance were you looking for?

What problems are you running in to?

It's basically impossible to take "here's my BIN, my cam, my intake, and my compression" and come up with an answer as to "whats wrong".

Explain what problems you're running in to, what you've done to counter them, what the results were, etc., and you will be much more likely to get some helpful answers!

Also posting the data from your bin (such as the VE table or timing table) is much easier for someone to quickly read and peruse and be willing to comment on.

Re: Check my bin???

Hey thanks for the reply!! And sorry about the lack of info. Basically i dont have the of idle throttle response that i think that i should. I have my Ve table within 8to10 +/- of 128. I would think that is decent??? I have been ramping up my timing slowly and its getting a little better. What im wondering if how much timing to add in the 70/80/90 map range just of idle under hard throttle?? I cant post my datalog yet do to still trying to figure out how to get it from laptop to Home pc?? I will post it when i can. THanks for looking though!!

Re: Check my bin???

Fill in your profile or signature so people can see what you are running.
ECM?
mask ID ?
MAF / SD or any changes from stock, etc.
Was going to do a few compares on the bin to see what it is but its all gibberish if compared to different masks.

Re: Check my bin???

Hey it was $150 Canadian with lifters!! The engine I already had out of on old P.U. And it was a total of about $800 to do a basic rebuild with new rings bearings, pistons, seals and refurbished heads. I did the assembly and install and only minor costs for the machine work because i went through the shop that i work at!! Its only a flat tappet cam but it works good.
