IS $8D oil temp sensor input used in any calculations? I have a converted MAF -> SD harness, and my scan tool always reads the oil temp as -39*

I know I dont have a oil temp sensor, only ECM coolant temp and the gauge sensors. I checked the wiring diagrams posted on this site, but could not locate an oil temp sensor.

As I am just starting to tune a new SD motor, and it will not even run because it is pumping too much fuel, I had to wonder if that was one of the causes.

My motor is a HSR topped 406 with a custom grind cam.
286/294 (226/236 @ .050), 553/573 (w 1.6 rocker), 114 LSA, 110* centerline
Approx 9.8:1 compression. 30# SVO injectors

I know I probably need to cut fuel out of the VE tables, but how much to start?

The oil temp function was only enabled on the Vette....
