Winaldl timing??
Winaldl timing??
Another quicky!! Is there any way to see if and how much timing the ecm is pulling out when dataloging?? I know it reads knocks and knock area. But can it also see the ecm adding or subtracting timing?? THanks again.
Re: Winaldl timing??
the amount of knock retard is what ever is present in your .bin. you can change it to whatever you feel is appropriate. not sure what is in stock .bin but I will guess it is a few degrees and willl continue to remove till it does not repeat. you could zero it out but then you dont have that feature if you really need it.
In EBL you could see the "retard" sequence and amount as it logs SA

To make my tune easier I zero'd out the retard...It was way too confusing with it enabled. Enable it when your done...Thats my opinion anyways

I agree somewhat... if your aware you have the retard disabled as you tune your timing you would most likely be looking for knock anyways...but yes, ignoring knock would be dangerous.
