Best set-up

I'm looking to get started with burning/emulating new proms. What would be the best?

-Moates' Ostrich 2.0
-DynamicEFI EBL flash system
-Romulator and Prom burner

Thanks,
Hoppy

x2

From what I understand of teh mentioned products, they are all in different catagories.

The Ostrich is for chip emulation only, you still need an ALDL cable to datalog.

If I understand it correctly, the EBL will allow data logging via the supplied connection.

Prominator and chip burner, well this is almost the same boat as the Ostrich 2.0, but allows you to burn to an EEPROM once you get done the tune, via real time emulation with the prominator. Still need an ALDL cable though.

Re: Best set-up

The EBL Flash is self-contained.
I've burnt many a chip for the C3 ECM's, for which EBL is a direct plug-n-play replacement.
My only regret is that I didn't just buy the EBL in the first place.
I've posted elsewhere, and my opinion hasn't changed. The EBL Flash is severely underpriced.
