80-100 VE's??

Might be a dumb question but roughly how much higher should you 80 to 100 ve area be compared to the 70ve area. Im running the 7747ecm $42 mask and all my ve below 80 are within +-2 of 128. Now im going to be putting in an LC-1 wideband this week for better tuning but just wondering what a rough percentage would be in the main ve table?? Ex- 1% 2% etc. Its on a mild 350. Thanks for any help

Per RPM row, if you were to plot the VE values you will see a trend in the slope of the plotted line (you see the same trend if you plot it in 3D using TunerPro). Just follow the trend...

Ok I kinda figured that it should still increase per rpm and Map. I just wasnt quite sure that I would need to increase the upper ve the same as the 70% and lower. Thanks for the reply though!!!

Re: 80-100 VE's??

Good question. I think mine are the same as what is in the 70 row. You will be in PE when seeing those high Map areas. I believe the ECU will use that fueling value in those cells when calculating PE so it may be safer to add a couple % into those values above 70 incrementally. In the end it makes little diff as I believe you and I have a WB so we monitor PE in logs. If it goes lean we have to ask if that VE cell value should be increased and or fuel pressure.

Re: 80-100 VE's??

I do have a Wb LC-1, but have not installed it yet. Plan on doing it this week if it is slow at work though. I did increase the higher map area and it seems to have help my accelleration a bit. And it sounds a little happier under Wot. I have been trying to use the narrow band o2 to see what the mv are at during this time and I think im still a little lean. Around 830-850mv. I think that is supposed to be around 13-1 afr??? I would like to see about 890 to 950's I think??? Any thoughts??

Re: 80-100 VE's??

Be careful about changing the fuel pressure after tuning the VE. Ve only affects that small area, fuel pressure changes AE, PE, and open loop. Some people here have suggested not changing ve to tune WOT. use PE instead, something about getting confused as to what was changed, when and where.
