pocket programmer 2

I have seen the pp2 with what looks like a romulator connector for emulation OR it's just for serial connection? I am after a nvsram but I have pp2 and wanted to know if the pp2 can do the real time tuning like the nvsram?

Re: pocket programmer 2

The PPII is strictly for burning chips. The ROM emulator that you see basically takes the place of the EEPROM. You can make real time changes to the emulator as you tune, and when your done, you transfer over the bin to your EEPROM or FlashROM using your PPII.
