I'm having a hard time finding a stock $6E bin file for an '89 LB9/700r4/3.23 combo. I've been searching for a couple of days with no luck. Can anybody point me in the right direction to one?

Sure have. The problem is that the files don't have a description for them and I can't just look at the 4 digit code off of my car, because the 165 ECU I have is from an '87.

 

Use the search function and type in "prom bcc". Might help narrow it down

 

www.chevythunder.com scroll down on the first page about half way and you should find "prom BCC codes -TPI", click on 1989 and several codes will pop up for F and Y bodies.

also, ARAP when looked at in TunerPro has the injecters set at 22 which is for a stock 350 and also has TCC values in place for the auto transmission.
