Wanna read an old ADS Superchip

I'm currently running an APU1 Autoprom and "partially" tuned chip...
I have the G1 adapter and S2 ZIF socket http://www.moates.net/gp1-package-gm....html?cPath=64

I'm wondering if I can plug my old ADS Superchip into the G1 Adapter and read/download the program through the ALDL cable???

or do I need the HDR1 Memcal Header????
http://www.moates.net/hdr1-memcal-he....html?cPath=64

I'm asking cause...,
I dyno'd my car post Intake, Heads, and Cam (before I bought tuning equipment) and produced 330 Rwhp and 349 ft/Lbs with the old ADS Superchip, and it was runnning lean!!!

So I went to the dragstrip last weekend with my APYU Bin and took some timing out of it and fattened up the PE.... The first run was around 15 AFR which ran a (14.4sec .81R/T @ 94 MPH) and got fatter as the night went on and the car got hotter... pegged out at 10.1 on my A-pillar wideband.(15.5 sec @92 MPH)

I was thinking about comparing the ADS Chip to what I'm running now to check out the difference...

i find the HDR1 to be an invaluable tool, but you can dump the BIN through the ALDL port using mode2 or mode3 commands.

however, i have no idea to how quickly combine all of that data back into a BIN file.
