Hey all you tuners. On a 350 how much duration can you run on a cam with a 112 center and it still tune ok and idle well and drive well. Also, same question on a 406. The 406 question would include a solid roller motor with high compression and HSR and brodix heads. Can you get away with a 110 center? I like to street drive my 406 car and I am contemplating bigger heads and a cam change but I want it street driveable. It is an automatic car. I am thinking brodix -12 heads like kinser and the sprint car guys use (400 plus cfm) which would make gobbs of power. The cam would be a little over 600 lift and either a 112 or 110 center depending on driveability and of course how much duration I can get away with. What have you guys seen other people get away with?
