New Dyno's; Tuning Works!
Just completed several dyno runs in Shoreline, Wa this evening. Put out a best of 383.72 RWHP and 373.21 torque. HP peaked at 5500 and dropped off from there. Ran a total of 36.5 deg timing for the best run. We had trouble getting the Torque converter to lockup but best peak was at 4k. One of the runs detected knock and dropped off significantly as the ECM pulled timing. All in all, an excellent day to hit those numbers!
I was hoping for 370-375; my last Dyno was 355/352 about 6yrs ago. I've only done minor mods since then and lots and lots of tuning. AFR was dialed in pretty close since I have a WBO2, but the dyno made it that much easier to fine tune and pick up an additional 15 HP.
Now looking forward to hitting the 1/4 mile for some new times. Last drag run it had a poor tune and was only pushing 355RWHP and 342 TQ. I'm pretty sure I'm hitting 11's this time out! Hope those ET Streets hook up!

Definately an improvement. I picked up 30lbft of torque on the dyno and 10 or so hp at peak. I was only street tuning at the time and its hard to get the car running at peak torque on the street to see air fuel ratios... rpms flash buy so fast its hard to watch everything. Dyno's help. I picked up 2 mph and .15 or so in the 1/4 after tuning

Re: New Dyno's; Tuning Works!
Will definately get that sig updated!
Here's my mods since the last 1/4 mle run.
Removed stock Dual TPI intake/filters and replaced with mandrel bent 3.5" tubing and K&N cone filter located just below Batt compt...my custom CAI on the cheap that really worked.
Tunerpro showed my VE tables drastically leaned out. Numerous attempts at tuning with 24lbs injectors was difficult and found to be overtasked so I swapped to 30lb injectors to keep up. Discovered I was only hitting 96% TPS when I thought I was WOT, turned out my Lloyd Floor mats were holding me back...just folded the corner under for a quick fix, plan to remove at track.
Removed all AC components, added AC delete pulley. Removed 8 3/4" ZZ4 Balancer and went back to the smaller L-98 balancer for a 6lb weight reduction of rotating mass, also swapped out the steel driveshaft for a LS1 Al driveshaft. So far it's been holding fine but I'm concerned with it at the track with my ET Streets on and warm.
Many iterations of tuning VE/Spark tables and approx 10 WOT runs narrowing in on 12.7 AFR. Dyno was the best to get it on the money. Here's my motor/new CAI that really works; MAP KPA always hits 100.22 now during WOT.

Re: New Dyno's; Tuning Works!
Well I got to the track this weekend and pulled off a new best of 11.787 @115! Totally hooked off the line and pulled a new best 60' of 1.59. Had a blast out there, last time at the track was 2008 so I consider myself a semi-rookie, but my IROC was running with the best! Not too shabby for a street ride!
