O2 voltage

I was wondering where the o2 voltage should be in pe mode. I'm using the ebl flash, but I do not have a wb o2. Its hard to get a ve learn in under acceleration, but my o2 is steady around 750 during pe. Is this too rich?
Also, what does launch and async do?

Re: O2 voltage

You might want to wait for others to chime in. But I always was told it should be around 900.

Launch mode adds spark advance to get the engine up against the converter and move out. Or in the case of a stick shift, just to get the car to move out. Notice how it is only active for a short period of time and under a certain MPH.

Async is when the injectors fire together every 12.5 milli-seconds. That is, asynchronously to the spark plug firings.

I too would shoot for a higher O2 in PE mode.

Re: O2 voltage

Same here, 900mv is what it's supposed to be according to some guys on here. On a side note, atleast being richer is better than lean in WOT.

Also, here was a discussion on this: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/dfi-...sensor-mv.html

Bottom line is that a NB O2 doesn't read accurately before and after 300mv and 700mv respectively.

Re: O2 voltage

Thanks all of you, looks like I'll be turning it up a bit for now. A wb will be in the future, after some engine work is done.
