looking for EBL help
I have a 90'454ss pick up with MPFI controlled by EBL. The truck runs good in open loop after many VE learns , but not back in closed loop. The NB 02 does not seem to read right, always too rich at idle - even in open loop.
The wide band seems to track fine? What am I missing? Could someone review my file and give me some direction please?
Thanx Charlie

Re: looking for EBL help
The NB o2 sensor may be silicone poisoned. They report rich when they are. It will actually drive the INT & BLM down to the point that the engine cuts off (BTDT).

here is the bin. My buddy uploaded it to dropbox for me
The o2 sensor is brand new and was just swapped out. I am sure it is not fouled.

Re: looking for EBL help
Is this a stock 454? Your Initial - SA is set to 9.14 degrees, way too much, stock calls for 4-degrees I believe, while your Idle State - SA is set to 11.95*, way too little, as stock calls for 16-degrees. Only other thing that I noticed is that the Injector Flow Rate is missing, it is set to 0, as well as the Displacement of 1 Cylinder, that is also set to 0...

Re: looking for EBL help
I had the same problem when I first got an EBL, was running it on my stock TBI 4.3 to get used to the setup, TunerPro, etc. In closed loop it would come to the point of stalling, a new O2 sensor solved it.
