Main spark table

Woud it be wrong to think of the main spark table as such?LV8 of 64 to 128 would be for tuning at idle to light throttle,128 to 192 is part/moderate throttle. My table stops at a LV of 208,but 208+is wot(plus the wot vs rpm table).I have'nt tried to tune this way but just trying to form a idea.

LV8 is MAF's "calculated value for MAP". Based on my brief scan on that part of the MAF code, it appears to involve the TPS and flow to calcuate a "MAP-like value".

But your logic (low LV8 = low load and high LV8 = high load) is correct. The actual values I cannot comment because I don't have the amount of "observation time" on working with MAF as I do with SD. But I would capture some data and note the LV8 values when cruising light throttle around 60 mph, the LV8 will going up a light grade and a heavy grade to guage the typical LV8 values for "light, moderate and heavy" throttle.
