Re: Looking for EBL experiance

My last tuner would agree with you- but it is what I have. When it runs good- it's great, no issues other than self inflicted for several years of running it. Anyway you comment is not constructive.

Dave, from what I've seen you would be better off tuning it yourself. And you likely have the capability to do that.

I have trouble with being charged a good $$ for that garbage. I decided to start with your regular vortec tune----> just with a good account for injector and cid it's running far better than when it was given to me, not even a VE learn yet. The talent pool here for this is non existent, it would be nice to have some knowledgeable guy (or gal) in the pass seat- so to speak. Saying that, I've had the EBL for many years and want to thank you for all the help you've given.

I did change out that ignition switch from the original because of the irratic ign voltage on key off- what else would affect this?

Dave

I'm not surprised a base calibration is better then what the last tuner did.

I did change out that ignition switch from the original because of the erratic ign voltage on key off- what else would affect this?

Dave
For the fluctuating IGN+ voltage, it could be anywhere along the path from the junction block under the hood to the terminal/wire at the ECM. It looks like after the ignition switch the power goes to the 10A ECM/IGN fuse. From there it goes on to the ECM (PNK/BLK, A6).

That same fuse also powers 2 solenoids (EGR & EAC) and the ESC Module.

Re: Looking for EBL experiance

I found a fellow who is willing to work with me online- he probably contacted you about using .adx with TunerProRT/wud, is there any articles about this or step by step on what's involved...kind of lost on this one.

Re: Looking for EBL experiance

No sense monitoring the ALDL stream, the EBL data stream provides much more information and at a higher data rate.

Just use the WUD to data log and analyze the data.

Seriously? The EBL is the coolest thing since sliced bread. By far the easiest tuning system on the market.

Can't beat the price- that's for sure. Can't keep everybody happy, I'm sure Rob would agree.
