TunerPro Rt Says Hardware Not Found DA Not Connected
My car is having a no start issue, I believe it's related to the new distributor cap or ignition coil I installed a few weeks ago but want to make sure. I used Tunerpro only once prior to this about 7 or 8 months ago. My car is a 1986 Camaro IROC Z TPI, I'm using the Moates.net cable and the 32.xdf for the 86 TPI through TunerPro RT. I can't get tunerpro to pick up my ECM. It keeps saying "Hardware Not Found" and DA Not Connected. How do I get it to scan?

Not sure you can connect to the ecm and will even be able to determine why you have a no start without the engine running. You might see if tp shows the cable on a different com port. Check your basics, fuel pressure, injector pulse and spark.

It's not the xdf file that counts. It's the adx file you need to connect to the ECM.

Get the 32.ads file...
You'll need to save the ads file as a text file, then through Tunerpro, go to Aquisition, Import Definition, grab the ads file and then save it as an adx file.
