I came across this on Facebook. Maybe good to look into if needing some tuning stuff.

About Us (boostednw.com)
"BoostedNW LLC is a small business based out of NW Washington State. We have been building many makes and models of vehicles but mainly tuning on Hondas for many years and have assisted many locally. We have designed several items in house to meet the needs of customers and also supply issues of certain parts. We have experience Early GM, and OBD1 GM Vehicles as well.
Recently we have expanded into OBD1 GM Tuning parts and accessories to help fill some of the gaps that Moates.net left when leaving the market abruptly."
Doing a search apparently they have been mentioned here before,

Re: Moates replacement?

Hi all!
I represent the CobraRTP team, and I noticed that many are still looking for a replacement for Moates products.
I think we can offer a replacement for their main products, such as Ostrich 2, RoadRunner, Demon 2, more info on our website: Replacement for Moates products – CobraRTP
Thank you for your attention!

Re: Moates replacement?

Tunercat sells stuff too...

http://www.tunercat.com/cables/obd1prokit.html

Looks like they sell Boosted's stuff... so I'm not sure if they have stock of their own.

If you're simply looking for a chip burner, there are other options like the TL866II that you can get on ebay.

These guys also sell some stuff...

Re: Moates replacement?

I've used and recommend Red Devil River

I ordered from BoostedNW and after after 2 weeks with no shipment, I asked for the order to be canceled.
Received a nasty email and was told the order was processed and probably shipped. They would not cancel any orders.
Credit card had not be charged yet so I blocked them from being able to charge my card.
Bank will notify me if they tried to charge my card. 2 months later they still haven't tried to charge me for the parts they said probably shipped .

Don't waste your time with BoostedNW

Re: Moates replacement?

I’ve had a few issues with Jaime at boostednw, it’s a shame that they took copyright of moates products and remade without permission. It’s good that there are other options for equipment. I’ve hoarded a lot of moates equipment. You just can’t beat the original .

Re: Moates replacement?

Just be aware, maybe this will change in the future, but as of now the BoostedNW Chip Burner does not integrate with TunerPro RT as advertised on their website. There was a firmware update, and they are no longer using their assigned device hardware ID, so TunerPro doesn't see the hardware. You can use the standalone app to read/write chips, but it's a hassle compared to just doing it inside TunerPro.

I solved the issue by finding an APU1 for sale.
