this software is pretty cool.. thanks Jonas.. I just need to understand it better!

I will post pics of the interface I made if anyone is interested.. I removed my ashtray and put a 9 pin serial connector hardwired to the ecm and I also put a switch that shorts a&b for quick code checks.. works great.. my ecm doesn't need the 10k resistor to send data! now I just plug the laptop in the lighter socket and the cable I made in the serial connector ..

 

I use the same software,but I use the 10K resistor setup, could you post your pics. I just used a two wire headphone jack will a plug-in in my dash that seemed to give a very flush mount.

 

Hey what kind of times to you run in the 1/4. I have a pretty similar setup to you and I've got mine down to 14.7s.

 

hmm.. I'm still in the breakin process.. only have 600km's on it.. I haven't set the base timing to 8 btdc yet.. still running at 0.. and on a cold nite with the engine still not getting above 110F with my cheap stock winter tires and no traction on the gtech I ran 15.44 @ 94mph
