Is it for 89 iroc (iron heads) or 89 Vette (alu heads)?

The word is ARAP was configured for Corvette application, since these come with aluminum heads there's your question answered.

While formally for the vettes, it was alledgedly used in the magazine evaluation cars.

Also, remember while Octane says the same, the brewing chemicals change so a decade later things might need to be reviewed, ie timing

I think I've read every arap post there is and was just kinda curious since it seemed to be 50/50 on what it was intended for. thanks

I burn my first chip tomorrow with the arap so we'll see how it goes.....should be fun.

The ARAP is a nice base to start with, but it is far from optimal on every MAF car I've played with.

Spark generally has to be toned down a tad and the Fan Switch needs to be changed are two things that quickly come to my mind.

Yea I've done a lot searching on it and I'm excited about burning one and trying it out. I know that spark will need some adjustment for sure. I'm not using an electric fan right now, have a clutch fan but eventually I'm going to make the swap.
