For some wierd reason when I connect my battery a relay under the hood: drivers side in front of the fender starts clicking and a relay in my alarm does the same. It stops if I dissconect the alarm from the from the lights but my alarm still doesn't work. Could have something to do with the fact that I attached it to both of the brown wires that come out of the switch in the same place?
If not do you have any Ideas

a lot of alarms sound the siren and flash the lights when power is disconnected and then reapplied. a thirdgen alarm color code guide is avaliable in this thread:
