My car is stopping at 2500 rpms in 5th gear and i can't get rid of it!! Not to long ago this question was allready asked and i tried everything that was suggested! I don't even have the computer in my car anymore! So any help would be great.

 

check the exhaust system, sounds like a collapsed catalytic converter or perhaps a clogged muffler.

 

The exhaust could do that? I don't have any cats on the car but i do have the stock exhaust system from my 305 on the 350. If it was the exhaust wouldn't it do that in every gear?
