Battery keeps dieing...

I bought this car and a later on noticed that the battery is not recharging, so my first thought is that the altinator is bad or the voltage regulater on the altanator is not correct, so I am going to pull it off and take it to auto store and have it tested, The reasone I am posting is because I am wondering if anyone has had this problem and what they did to fix it... Is there any other things that could cause this? (Bad ground, somthing internaly is on when it shouldn't be. ect.) Any help would be cool... Thanks for you time.

You should check your B+ wire that connects the Alternator to the + terminal of the starter. This wire is sometimes damaged by heat and does not conduct electricity.
