Anyone running a line lock?

I'm interested in the TCI setup from Summit. It's cheaper than the one on my '95, which is the Hurst Roll Control. Anyone? Thanks.

Yep, I've got the TCI Roll-Control. Want pics of it?

Sure. Also, how was the install, pretty simple or was the kit complete. I know with the Hurst setup, I bought a kit to accompany it, which made install a breeze. Thanks, ya got a great website here, look forward to posting here regularly, you know, be a pain, etc

I use the Biondo line lock. It's available from Summit and Jegs for less than $50. It took another $10 of fittings and two brake lines to install it.

Speaking of installation, if you splice the line lock into the line between the master cylinder and proportioning valve, the "Brake" warning light will light when you turn the line lock on. Kind of a poor man's indicator!!

If you splice between the master cylinder and proportioning valve, the rear brakes are also activated. Why not just save $50 and hold your foot on the brake?

NO!!! There are two lines between the master cylinder and proportioning valve. One controls the rear brakes, the other the front. I spliced into the front line leaving the rear brake lines untouched.

The reason the brake light turns on is because of the pressure differential between the front and rear brakes. This differential is extremely high when applying the line lock -- the front brake pressure is very high and the rear pressure is nil.

Ah, to be lost in the sixties (before braking systems were split into two independent systems).
My mistake Willie , a case of brain fade.
