Best place to get one is a junk yard.
about the gears, I dont know the part number but I do know how to change it, its fairly easy. you have to remove the tail housing of the transmission and inside on the shat will be a red gear held in by a clip, remove the clip with a screw drive and something to pull it out like an "o" ring remover or someting....tap it of with a hammer lightly....put the new one on, you may have to tap that one on too,,,not to hard or you'll brake it. Now ya gotta get that clip back it....you may have to bend it bak into shape so it stays on but it goes.....I just re-installed my old one when replacing my tranny with one out of an 84 caprice....its about a 15 minute to half hour job to replace the gear though

Omar is correct. A speedo swap is a direct bolt-in. You dont have to change anything else.

No speedo gear change is required when swapping speedos, if the original speedo reads accurately to begin with.
