Need to know how to "install" starter wires

I am going to buy a wiring harness and wondered how hard it is going to be to get the stater wires in. My old wires were cut by an a****** lazy mechanic and now I need to get my car running again. So is there a plugin around the firewall or somewhere or am I going to look at sodering the wires?

Your best bet is to solder the wires & use either heat shrink tubing, or electrical tape to insulate the solder connections. Don't forget that the 2 or 3 car power feeds that connect to the large lug on the starter use fusible links - if those were cut off, they should be replaced as well (available from Pep Boys), since they are the only fuse protection for some circuits.
