Signal Cancel

Ok, my turn signal cancel thing (as if in know it's real name) only cancels the right turn signal. Canadian Tire doesn't supply them, and the gm dealership was no help iether. So i have 2 problems.

1. I own a haynes manual, and as a result don't know how to get it out, or even what it looks like.

2. If i can't find a replacement used, are they repairable.

Thanks

look for the little cancel springs in the "help" or "motormite" section of the store. to fix, you'll need to remove the steering wheel and lockplate.

Inside your steering column, I think just under the steering wheel and the dust cover is a set of little white plastic thingys, these are the things that run the cancel function...like 2vmod said check with your parts store, they should have replacements, or repair kit.
