Torque Converter Lockup switch
Hey I have removed my computer and all of the electronic junk. I did leave the Computer harness in tact. Is there any way to wire a toggle switch up to the harness to lock the converter in 4th gear. I have seen the ALDL way but it can not be used now.
Thanks for the advice.

Guy I have the same problem. Looked around for awhile at aftermarket toggles. Well there are kinda expensive. Found an article in Car Craft place named Auto Rite. Makes a pressure switch that will lock up after you hit fourth gear. They sell the kit for $62. With the article seems very easy to install into tranny. And best of all no toggle on/off all the time. You can reach them at www.auto-rite.com

You SHOULD just be able to find the 12V wire on the back of the trans that controls TC lockup and take that to ground with a switch. I did the ALDL thing personally, but it's been without such things.
I don't know for sure. Let us know how it turns out.
