What is the best place to pick up a power lead under the dash?

What is the best place to pick up a power lead under the dash?

I need to install a couple more guages and I need to pick up some power inside the car under the dash

all my the wiring harneses a nice and tucked away and all wraped up .....I dont want to start riping into them all to find power

I was thinking of trying the cd player power ..I can get to that easily
Can anyone tell me the best place to grab power???

Use the gauges fuse (pink / black wire).

Your fuse box has sockets for GM single wire plugs that can be on always, switched, acc, etc, go to the junk yard, look at fuse blocks especially of caddys and buicks. they unplug by pressing in tab. depending on where key on side is, depends on where it can plug in, but you can slice off the key and use in any socket. Red plugs work in always on sockets, for example.
